The Power projects performed at GARDNER ZEMKE consist of Power Generation Facilities including coal-fired, natural gas, and hydroelectric plants; substations and switchyards; and overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems. Our experience includes large electrical equipment erection including step-up power transformers and generator circuit breakers as well as isolated-phase bus systems.

We have erected dozens of substations and switchyards throughout the Western United States through 345kV to include site preparation, concrete foundations, steel erection, equipment installation, overhead rigid bus installation, testing and startup.

Our transmission and distribution expertise includes a complete range of projects from 5 and 15kV underground distribution with concrete encased duct banks and precast manholes to 345kV overhead transmission. We have also performed several 115kV and 230kV underground cabling projects with solid dielectric power cables and terminations.
